Time is an Egg

Film Time is an Egg visualizes the holistic study of marginimas (traditional egg decoration) technique. Eglė dives into her family heritage and interprets values behind the custom. Genre of magical realism is used to make connections between the perception of time and the sun, ritual and memory. Sunlets are tributed as the answer to all questions of existence.
The techniques and imagery used in the film were informed by the meditative, layered, repetitative, domestic and diy process of marginimas.
