Tactile Dreaming introduces a collection of objects created in a workshop setting,
that challenged participants to create small clay sculptures around aetiological creationist tales of land and creatures.
While being blindfolded and encouraged to embrace the Intuitive, the Emotional and the Unknown,
the workshops instructed participants to let go of pre-existing notions of functionality and productivity.
The participants explored the context of Lithuanian folkloric storytelling — a setting for imagining alternative realities —
as their hands turned into listening tools to re-tell stories and uncover innate sculptural expressions.
The project presents the clay creations through an annotated display together with a booklet,
framing the sculptural collection as a research into the psycho-social function of the notion of enchantment.
